
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all hire, sale, and supply of Hire Equipment, Goods, Weekly Toilet Service, and/or Services by LSK Hire Limited. The document is split into Section 1 (Standard Conditions for all customers) and Section 2 (Terms specific to Consumers).
Key Definitions

Contract: The agreement between LSK Hire Limited and the Customer for hire, services, or goods.

Hire Equipment: Equipment supplied on hire as specified in the Contract Details.

Weekly Toilet Service: A free, no-obligation weekly servicing of portable chemical toilets, including waste removal and restocking consumables.

Minimum Hire Period: 4 weeks from the date of Delivery unless otherwise agreed.

Off-Hire Notice: Written or telephone notice provided by the Customer to end the hire period
Section 1: Standard Conditions
1. Basis of Sale and Hire
Quotations are valid for 20 Business Days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed only when LSK Hire Limited accepts the Customer's Order.
2. Delivery and Collection

Customers must ensure a representative is present for Delivery; acceptance constitutes evidence that equipment is in good condition and fit for purpose.

If no representative is present, equipment left at the Site is deemed accepted.

Risk in the equipment passes to the Customer immediately upon leaving LSK Hire’s physical control.
3. Site Access
The Customer is responsible for providing open, safe, and unrestricted access to the Site. Failure to provide access may result in the Customer being liable for charges even if services were not performed, as well as additional "re-attempt" fees.
4. Quality and Maintenance

Equipment is warranted to conform to descriptions and be free from material defects at Delivery.

The Customer must notify LSK Hire of defects within 7 days of discovery.

Customers must not attempt repairs themselves without written consent.
5. Charges and Payment

Hire charges accrue in 1-week blocks in advance.

For credit accounts, payment is generally due within 30 days of the invoice date.

Non-account customers must pay the Holding Deposit, Security Deposit, and hire charges up to the end of the Minimum Hire Period upon ordering.

Interest on overdue payments is charged at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
6. Limitation of Liability Total liability is limited to 5 times the Contract charges or £1,000, whichever is higher. LSK Hire is not liable for business interruption, loss of profit, or damage caused by overflowing tanks.
Section 2: Terms for Consumers Only
1. Right to Cancel (Cooling-off Period)

Consumers who order online or by phone generally have 14 days to cancel.

For Goods: 14 days from the day after delivery.

For Services/Hire: 14 days after the order is accepted.

If services have already begun at the Customer's request, LSK Hire may charge a pro-rated amount for the time used prior to cancellation.
2. Statutory Rights
Hire Equipment and Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If faulty on delivery, Consumers can request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a full refund.
3. Governing Law
The contract is governed by English law, and legal proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland if the Customer resides there).
